I woke up this morning and as usual switched my radio on to catch some of Gemma Cairney on Radio1 before I had to get out of bed, but I was not expecting to hear what I did.
"Cory Monteith has been found dead in his hotel room." My first thought was "Molly are you sure this is July? It could be April, maybe it's April fools." that is honestly what I thought first, so I check the date, but sadly, it wasn't April fools. My second thought was "Maybe I heard it wrong." but it was repeated, I hadn't heard it wrong. I was so shocked. Such a young man had died. I know that people die every day and we don't make a big deal about it and I'm sure a lot of people will be like "Just because he was famous doesn't mean it makes it more sad." and of course it doesn't, but because he was in the public eye lots of people were attached to him, felt they knew him. Many fans will have been so excited about his leaving rehab, so it really is very sad.
My heart goes out to his family and close friends.
