And I can't change. Even if I Tried, Even If I Wanted To..

Marriage equality. A subject that I feel I maybe shouldn't be speaking about as a teenager, but I'm going to, because I feel I need to. I remember a couple of months ago finding a leaflet that had been put through our door, it was talking about how we had to "Save Marriage While We Can" about how gay marriage was wrong, I'm not going to lie, I sat on the floor and read that leaflet from cover to cover, and cried.
Why is our world such a judgemental place? I believe that no matter where in the world you live that you should be allowed to love and be proud to love. Now call me naive but I really don't think being gay is a punishable sin. People should not be ridiculed for their beliefs, their skin colour, their gender or their sexual orientation.
If you love someone, you love someone. Love is love and it's a beautiful thing, whether it's boy-girl, boy-boy or girl-girl.
In eighteen states it is illegal to refuse a gay person service, we SHOULDN'T NEED that law. People are people whether they are gay, lesbian, bisexual, heterosexual or transgender. That's like someone walking into a cafe and me going "You're blonde, I'm not serving you." it's completely ridiculous. And I know people will think "No Molly that's different, sexuality and hair colour are totally different." I know they are different, but it's the same thing, it's discrimination.
In some countries it's ILLEGAL to be homosexual. WHAT?!
Does it matter whether I want to spend the rest of my life with a man or a woman? There's NO difference.
Jessie J said, "I'm not bisexual, I'm not a lesbian, I'm not straight, if I like a girl I like a girl, if I like a guy I like a guy" And she is so right, why do we have to make such a big deal about it! At the age of fourteen, I don't know who I am yet, but I don't want to be told that if I don't marry a man then that's weird.
I want to marry who ever I please, and why can't some people accept that?

Macklemore. He is a man I respect, and his song "Same Love" brings a tear to my eye every time, he is so right!

And then there's Jessie J, I am proud to say she is my idol, a beautiful woman with a beautiful out look on life!
I was reading the comments on a YouTube video of her the other day and someone had said
"Oh Jessie , I really loved you. You were a great song writer and singer ..... so yh why do you have to be bi? im not being rude or anything . its her life .she CAN DO whatever SHE WANTS WITH IT. but now im not sure if i like you any more..... I always used to listen to ur songs . :("
WHAT?! Okay I mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this is a little weird, why should her being bisexual change anything?
Jessie was brave enough to openly talk about her sexuality and dedicate her song to a girl, I honestly do not see why that should make her lose fans!

I just feel that we should love people for WHO they are not WHAT they are, that's all.
